Launched in October 2015, Pride Action Tank brings together and supports the work of subject matter experts as well as people directly impacted by challenges facing LGBTQ+ communities to envision and realized practical and longer-term policy solutions. Moreover, PAT fuels collaborations among organizations, departments, experts, policymakers and community members to fill in gaps and ensure better support for all people in LGBTQ+ communities through inquiry, co-creation and advocacy. PAT's mission is to co-creates opportunities with LGBTQ+ community members and our allies to dream, define and enact strategies that create conditions for our collective liberation in Illinois and beyond.
